FEBRUARY 16 - MARCH 11, 2021
We are kicking off the first Learning Track by exploring what life with cystic fibrosis looks like. Exploring perspectives of people with CF, family of people with CF, and CF researchers; attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how cystic fibrosis affects a variety of people across the country while providing materials to learn more at your own pace.
Progress, Perspective, and a Deeper Understanding of CF – Tuesday, February 16 from 1 to 2pm EST
This session will provide a unique overview of the progress of cystic fibrosis and the CF Foundation from various perspectives. Join energetic and passionate emcee, Jamie Roney, CF mom, as she guides our discussion through the perspective of a CF Foundation staff member; Miriam Figueira, a CF scientist working to cure her own disease; and Joseph Pilewski, MD, co-director of the adult CF Care Center at UPMC. Bring your questions as we end the session with an engaging Q&A with our panel of speakers to bring you a deeper understanding of real life with CF.

CF Fighter Panel – Thursday, February 25 from 7 to 8:30 pm EST
Cystic fibrosis looks different for everyone. Four adults will discuss their unique experiences with CF, including: life post-lung transplant, having a rare mutation, taking Trikafta, and being diagnosed later in life. This is your opportunity to ask questions that will allow you to understand a day in the life of someone with CF.

Career & CF – Tuesday, March 2 from 1 to 2pm EST
We all face challenges in the workforce, but dealing with cystic fibrosis adds another layer. Hear from adults with CF navigating their careers while prioritizing their health. 3 CF fighters will share their journey of pursing their dreams despite their disease.

CF Family Discussion – Thursday, March 11 from 7 to 8:30 pm EST
Join us for a panel-style discussion featuring a CF parent, spouse, and sibling. We invite you to learn more about their connection to cystic fibrosis, hear firsthand how loving someone with a rare disease affects their lives, and discover how you can join them in the fight for the ones that they love.
Only one registration is required for this Learning Track. Once registered, you will receive login information for each of the four sessions. For questions, please contact
