A shortage of effective antibiotics puts the world at risk for future pandemics. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a concern for people with cystic fibrosis, as well as the nearly 35,000 Americans that die of antibiotic resistant infections each year. The CF Foundation supports the PASTEUR Act, a bipartisan proposal that, if passed, will support the development of new antibiotics.
